heart of the romantic town of Ruedesheim-Assmannshausen on Rhine famous for
its red-wine. Assmannshausen, with its idyllic small streets, and framework houses, is
situated in one of the most charming parts of the Rhine valley. Surrounded by sheer
vineyards and old castles, you will find well signposted hiking possibilities to the
Ruedesheim Hunting Lodge, to the nearby falconry, and to the Niederwald Memorial. For our guests we offer guidance, advice and information about : Boat trips to the Lorelei. Outings with the cablecars to the Ruedesheim Hunting Lodge, or the nearby falconry, and to the Niederwald Memorial. Horse riding and carriage trips. Visits to wine and sparkling-wine cellars with wine tastings in the Rheingau-Weinkellerei J. Jung Söhne, Assmannshausen. Wednesday evenings at 7:15 p.m. romantic evening trip with a passenger boat with live music and dance from Assmannshausen. |
In our Hotel/Restaurant you will
find a pleasant and cosy atmosphere. We are well known for our excellent home-cooking, and
our various specialities, coffee and cake, and selected wines. Saturday and Sunday mornings you can enjoy and early drink to musical accompaniment. We have our own parking area. A perfect service for coach groups if offered, after previous arrangements have been made. Our Hotel/Restaurant Ewige Lampe is a family run business. a rustical style. All are with Shower and WC, some are with balcony. 46 Beds Lounge with television and own parking area. Garages and club-telephone. Single room with Shower, WC Double room Bath/Shower, WC Dogs welcome. Our Restaurant and Houses are closed from the 5th January through to 15th February each year. |
